Things to Know – Drive Tray Cabling Configurations – Duplex System
The figures in this topic show examples of cable configurations from the controller-drive tray to the drive trays. Use
these examples as guides to connect cables in your storage array.
NOTE The configuration shown in the fourth image in this topic provides an example of tray loss protection. With
tray loss protection, if one drive tray cannot be accessed, you still have access to the remaining drive trays.
