Select the option “Simulated NI-DAQmx Device or Modular Instrument”, as chosen on Figure 93.
On the new window, you may use the search field to look for the desired instrument. Following the
example below, one may find the simulated device corresponding for NIRScout systems:
After confirming the selection, the device just created should be listed under Devices and Interfaces on
the Measurement & Automation Explorer main window.
