3.2 SUGGESTED ADD PARTS LIST
- TOPLINE bus standard junction box: 90-60-121
- TOPLINE connection box with a NMEA port : 90-60-417
3.3 BEFORE INSTALLING CHECK
The best location for the unit must be:
- Easy for the helmsman to read and operate,
- Safe location with low risk of shocks,
- More than 40 cm from a compass,
- Not horizontal.
3.4 BULKHEAD INSTALLATION
Check that the surface is clean, flat and straight. There must be enough space on the
other side to run the cable.
- Drill at 15 according to the drawing below
- Clean the surface with alcohol.
- Remove the protection layer at the back of the Multidisplay
- Pull the cable through the 18 mm hole
- If the thickness of your support is between 1 to 3mm, you don’t need the
blocking knurled nut. On the contrary, for a thickness between 3.1 and 40mm,
install the fixamo in advance.
- Place the display and Hand bolt.
Warning:
- The default factory setting of your Multidisplay is landscape orientation with the
nke logo on the right, If you want to change the orientation see: parameters >>
Maintenance.
- It is recommended to set up the orientation before installing it.
- When you fix the display, gently tighten the bolt by hand. Over tightening may
damage the housing and cause a leak.
- Do not use a sealant to fix the display.
