AutoTuning Heated Zones
Use AutoTune to improve the regulation and control of the external heated
zones.
NOTES:
S The external zones that you want to tune must be enabled and at set
point temperature for at least 15 minutes.
S The melter status must be at Temperature Ready.
S The Master Pump Control is not required to be switched On.
S Once you AutoTune the zones, you do not have to repeat this process
again.
S The tuning process takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes per zone.
1. Make sure all the preconditions are met:
S The external zones that you want to tune must be enabled and at set
point temperature for at least 15 minutes.
S The melter must be in a Temperature Ready state.
2. Use the Up/Down button on the Navigation pad to select which available
and external zones (zones where the circle is filled) that you want to tune.
You can do one at a time, or you can select the All Zones option. Press
the
 on the Navigation pad to start the tuning process.
3. Press
to return to the Home screen, or press < to return to the
Tools | Maintenance menu.
