Removing the front cover from a Multiservice Switch 7440
Remove the front cover from a Nortel Networks Multiservice Switch 7440 if
you need to access interior components, for example the processor cards, air
filter, or power supplies.
Procedure steps
1 Hold the cover on the outside edges. See the figure “Removing a
Multiservice Switch 7440 front cover” (page 465).
2 Pull the cover out.
The cover will pivot down on its insertion tabs.
