While the data emission
activation point remains
the same, the Delayed 2
curve differs from the
Delayed 1 curve in its
slightly exponential trend
towards the upper end of
the curve.

In this type of curve, the
Offset value also
regulates the point of
activation of data
emission.
• DELAYED 4
A Delayed Aftertouch
curve which is especially
hard in the upper part of
the curve. Emission of
MIDI Aftertouch value
127 is difficult with
negative Offset.
• SHELF ON HIG
As for dynamic curves,
Aftertouch Shelf curves
keep the MIDI Aftertouch
value emitted in some
portions of the curve
stable, regardless of
variations in the pressure
applied to the keyboard.
This is a Light type curve.
• SHELF ON MID
The Medium Shelf curve has
its shelf in the area of
medium pressure applied to
the keys. During
performance, it will be noted
that medium MIDI Aftertouch
values tend to persist,
followed by a rapid rise to
the maximum values.
• SHELF ON LOW
Maintaining the Shelf
curve concept, the Shelf
On Low curve tends to
keep the MIDI Aftertouch
values emitted low even
if the pressure applied to
the keyboard is varied.
• REVERSE 1
Reversed curves reverse
the Aftertouch logic; in
other words, low levels of
pressure applied to the
keyboard lead to emission
of high MIDI Aftertouch
values, and vice-versa.
Note that in Reversed
curves, the Offset
parameter also works in
reverse.
• REVERSE 2
A Reverse type curve
with a linear trend
(Reverse Linear).
