4.3 - SAFETY DEVICE (Fig. 2)
The machine is provided with following safety systems:
1) All danger areas are protected by safety guards with
screws.
2) Descent of the upper dish (2) is enabled using both
hands pressing the buttons (1); releasing one or both
the buttons, the dish stops and goes back up to the
upper rest position.
3) Top or upper guard (3); if raised during descent of
the upper dish, it locks the dish in the position it has
reached; lowering the top/guard, the dish goes back
up to the upper rest position.
4) During descent of the dish (2), the guard (4) rises; if
it is lowered for any reason, the dish (2) stops in the
position it has reached.
5) The dishes are tted with a safety thermostat which
stops dish heating (the heating element turns off) in
the event of failure of the temperature regulating ther-
mostat sensor and hence in case of heating element
overheating (>250° C).
