16 Cleaning & Maintenance
Cleaning
For a long lifetime and to take full advantage of this product, Okolab recommends cleaning the product
periodically. Please, follow the instructions below to clean LEO:
Use a polishing cloth or dry cloth to wipe off dust and dirt.
Do not clean LEO during the charging process.
Liquids should not enter inside LEO.
Maintenance
Filters should be regularly inspected and changed if damaged or full of water. Two additional
hydrophobic filters are supplied with LEO.
LEO should NOT be used for gas measurement without the filter.
Okolab recommends changing hydrophobic filters every three months.
The CO2-O2-MODULE should be factory calibrated every year and verified by the user each
month or before of each important measurement. To calibrate CO2-O2-MODULE, it has to be
extracted from LEO. To extract the CO2-O2-MODULE, see paragraph 17.
The Internal Pump has lifetime of 1000 hours of LEO operations. When the Pump reaches 1000
hours of operations, it should be replaced. Read paragraph 18 to replace the internal pump.
The Soda Lime kit has to be replaced when the Soda Lime filter changes color turning purple.
Contact Okolab to purchase a new Soda Lime kit
The T1 and T2 modules should be calibrated every year.
