Messages
When an error occurs, the display may show one of the messages listed below. These will help you identify and correct
the problem.
When a transmission error occurs, a sent/receipt result report is produced.
Check the error code shown in the report and refer to Error Code List
on page 9-6 for a description. To print the sent/
receipt result report, refer to Send Result Reports (Send Result)
on page 7-5 and FAX RX Result Reports on page 7-
7.
You may also check error codes using the activity report. (Refer to Activity Report (Outgoing FAX Rpt and Incoming
FAX Rpt) on page 7-9.)

Box limit exceeded. Job is
canceled.
Is [OK] displayed on the screen? The specified box is full, and no further
storage is available; Job is canceled.
Press the [OK] key. Try to perform the job
again after printing or deleting data from
the box.

― This job is canceled because it is
restricted by User Authorization or Job
Accounting. Press the [OK] key.

Error occurred. Turn the power
switch off and on.
― System error has occurred. Turn the main
power switch OFF and then ON.

FAX memory is full. ― FAX cannot be performed any more due
to insufficient memory. The job is
canceled. Press the [OK] key.

File is not found.
Job is canceled.
― The specified file is not found. The job is
canceled. Press the [OK] key.

Incorrect account ID. Job is
canceled.
― The account ID was incorrect when
processing the job externally. The job is
canceled. Press the [OK] key.

Incorrect Login User Name or
Password. Job is canceled.
― The login user name or password was
incorrect when processing the job
externally. The job is canceled. Press the
[OK] key.

Insufficient memory. Cannot
start the job.
― Job cannot be started. Try again later. ―

Load paper.
Select [Paper] to select the other paper
source. Press the [OK] key to print on the
paper in the currently selected paper
source.

service representative.
