Instrument Compatibility
The Vanta iX is primarily a self-contained unit. However, it does have a series of I/O
ports that can be used to connect compatible peripherals. The Vanta iX interfaces with
a PC using an Ethernet connection. The unit derives its required DC input power from
the AUX DC port or Power over Ethernet (PoE) port.
Always use equipment and accessories that meet Olympus specifications. Using
incompatible equipment could cause equipment malfunction and/or damage, or
human injury.
Repair and Modification
The Vanta iX contains only one user-serviceable part: the measurement window. If the
measurement window is damaged or contaminated, the window assembly should be
replaced as soon as possible. For more details, see “Measurement Window
Replacement” on page 49.
In order to prevent human injury and/or equipment damage, do not open the
instrument housing or modify the Vanta iX.
