Resetting the Server and SP
To shut down the OS, see “Shut Down the OS (init Command)” on page 36 or “Shut
Down the OS (shutdown Command)” on page 37.

Switch from the system console prompt to the Oracle ILOM prompt.

From the Oracle ILOM prompt, type:
-> stop /System
Are you sure you want to stop /System (y/n)? y
Stopping /System

Note - To perform an immediate shutdown, use the stop -force /System command. Ensure
that all data is saved before typing this command.
