32 Using your ViasatHD box
Changing screensaver settings
The Screen Saver menu lets you choose the type of screensaver image your box displays
on the TV screen, after a certain period of inactivity. Or, you can choose to disable this
feature.
The screensaver ends when you press any button on your remote control.
Note
The screensaver feature will not start while you are watching a TV programme, when no menus are
on-screen.
Use L or R to change the type of screensaver you want (Bouncing Image or Random
Lines), or Disable, then press OK.
Press D to highlight the Wait setting.
Use L or R to change how long your box waits before activating the screensaver feature
(between 1 minute and 60 minutes).
You can preview the screensaver by pressing yellow. To re-display the menu screen, press
any button.
Press blue to apply changes, or press BACK to cancel and return to the previous menu.
Managing favourite channels
The Manage Favourite screen allows you to choose up to 100 favourite channels from the
full list.
Use U or D to highlight a channel you want as a favourite, then press OK. The channel’s
state changes accordingly.
Note
To view the previous or next group of channels, press CH
+ or CH .
To sort the channel list, press yellow, highlight the category of channels you want to see
(All channels, Entertainment, Movies, Music, News, Sports) using U or D then press OK.
After you have chosen and saved some favourite channels, you can reorder them by first
pressing the green button. Highlight the channel you want to move then press OK. Use
U or D to choose a new position, and press OK again. The list updates.
Press blue to apply changes (you may also have to confirm the changes by pressing OK).
If you press red after making changes, a pop-up message asks if you want to save. Highlight
Yes or No and press OK.
