❖ System Setup
You use the System Setup menu to:
◆ change your box’s installation settings
◆ change the TV settings
◆ choose your preferred audio output format, and adjust the audio delay setting
◆ change the modem settings
◆ reset your box to the factory default settings
Changing installation settings
Default Transponder
Default values are already entered on this screen; under normal circumstances you do not
need to change these. If you change your satellite dish installation, you may need to change
the values so that your box can tune to all the satellites available.
◆ Use the number buttons to enter the frequency (GHz) and Symbol Rate
(ksymbol/s)
◆ Select the polarization (Horizontal or Vertical)
◆ Select the FEC (1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6 or 7/8)
Press blue to apply changes, or press red to cancel and return to the previous menu.
Note
If you change these settings you must then test the incoming signal, by selecting ‘Signal Test’ from the
main Settings menu (see page 26).
LNB Setup
Default values for a standard Universal LNB are already entered on this screen; under
normal circumstances you do not need to change these. If you change your satellite
dish installation, you may need to change the values so that your box can tune to all the
satellites available.
Universal LNB
◆ Select the number of LNBs (1 or 2)
◆ Use the number buttons to enter the Low Band LO (Local Oscillator)
Frequency and High Band LO Frequency (GHz)
◆ If you have 2 LNBs, you can select which satellite is connected to DiSEqC port A
or B (Thor or Sirius). The other port setting changes automatically.
SatCR LNB
◆ Select a User Band number for Input 1 (UB 1, UB 2, UB 3 or UB 4)
Press blue to apply changes, or press red to cancel and return to the previous menu.
