2.3.4 OUTPUT CONTROL
Digital outputs are ± 15 VDC, positive logic.
The UPC sends the following control signals to the power source on J3:
NAME
FUNCTION
3Φ - CMD 3Φ output form command
1Φ - CMD 1Φ output form command
NOTE:
If both 3Φ and 1Φ are false, the form is 2Φ
CONNECTOR - CMD Verify UPC is connected to power source. Also drives audible
beeper in the power source
EXT SENSE - CMD External metering command
XFMR CPLD - CMD Transformer coupled output command
OUTPUT ON -CMD Close output relay command
PSM1 & 3 – CMD Power Supply Management commands
2.3.5 OUTPUT CONFIRMATIONS
Digital inputs are ± 15 VDC, positive logic.
The power source sends the following control signals to the UPC on J3:

CONNECTOR - CONF Verify UPC is connected to power source
(loops back the CONNECTOR – CMD signal)
SHUTDOWN - CONF Power source shutdown confirmation
3Φ ON - CONF 3Φ output relay is closed
1Φ ON - CONF 1Φ output relay is closed
XFMR CPLD - CONF Transformer coupled output confirmation
