If a password is required, enter the
password, and then select “OK”.
z If you have set the polling password in the
Function Parameter “26 Polling Password”
(Fax/Email Settings > Fax Parameters), the
password will appear on the display.
You can still change the password
temporarily by overwriting it with a new one.

Select a destination.
z Refer to Entering a Destination (see page
20).

Press the Start key.
Polling starts when the pre-programmed time
is reached.
z The programmed deferred communication
time can be modified.
For instructions on how to modify the
communication time, refer to Editing
Communication Reservations (see page
170).
z If you need to delete a reserved
communication file, or cancel a time-
controlled communication, refer to Deleting
a Communication Reservation File (see
page 172).
