Remote Operation from a Touch Tone Phone
Setting the Remote Code
The 3-digit remote code prevents unauthorised use of your unit for listening recorded incoming/memo
messages. The remote code is not preset.
Make sure that the power is ON (p. 12), and the unit is in the standby mode.
1 Press .
2 Press or until the arrow points
to “
Setting Base
”, then press .

Input Command
” is displayed.
3 Press .
•
“
Remote Operation
” is displayed.
4 Press .
5 Enter a 3-digit remote code number to
set the remote operation ON.
OR
Press to set the remote operation
OFF.
6 Press .
•
A beep sounds.
•
To change the remote code, repeat from
step 2.
•
If 5 beeps sound in step 5, a 3-digit number
was not entered. Start again from step 2 and
enter a 3-digit number.
•
If a remote code is not programmed, you
cannot use the unit remotely.
