Cleaning
Do not use any cleaning agents or
solvents. Chemical substances can
etch the plastic parts of the device. Never
clean the device under running water.
Thoroughly clean the device after every
use.
Clean the ventilation openings and the
surface of the device with a soft brush
or cloth.
Remove chips, dust and dirt with a va-
cuum cleaner if necessary.
Lubricate moving parts regularly.
Do not allow any lubricants to come
into contact with the switches or lifting
wheel.
Replacing the drill chuck
Illustration :
1. Hold the thread (27) with an open-end
spanner (AF 16, not included).
2. Insert the grip of the drill chuck key (21)
into the drill chuck (17).
3. Loosen the drill chuck (17).
4. Screw a new drill chuck (17) onto the
thread (27).
3. Hold the thread (27) rmly with an
open-end spanner (AF 16, not included)
and tighten the drill chuck (17) with the
grip of the drill chuck key (21).
Storage
Store the appliance in a dry place well
out of reach of children.
The device can be relocated over a
short distance with two people. Reloca-
ting the device over a longer distance
generally has to take place with a trans-
port aid.
Transport
Do not carry the bench drill
holding it on the motor unit.
Caution! Hot surface. There is a
risk of burns. Only transport the
machine when the motor unit (1) has
cooled down completely.
If possible, carry the bench drill together
with another person. Grip the baseplate
(15) with one hand and stabilise the machi-
ne with the other hand on the motor unit (1).
Waste disposal
and environmental
protection
Be environmentally friendly. Return the tool,
accessories and packaging to a recycling
centre when you have nished with them.
Electrical devices do not belong in
domestic waste. The crossed out
waste bin symbol means that this
product must not be disposed of with
household waste after its service life.
Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical
and electronic equipment: Used electrical
devices must be collected separately for
disposal and recycled in an environmen-
tally sound manner.
Depending on the implementation in na-
tional law, you may have the following
options:
Return to a shop,
Hand over to an ofcial collection point,
Return to the manufacturer/distributor.
We will dispose of any defective devices
that you send to us free of charge.
