In case of insufficient weight for the elimination of an additional error, it is necessary
to clamp a product in massive metal vices.
The weight of the vise must be greater than the minimum weight of the controlled
product specified in paragraph 1.7 "Requirements for the controlled product".

Also, in the case of insufficient mass to eliminate additional errors, it is permissible to
"couple" the product on a solid plate in the manner described above.
The "Coupling" method should be used for thin products (in the form of sheets),
products having a flat shape and a mass comparable to the minimum weight of the controlled
product specified in paragraph 1.7 "Requirements for the controlled product".
It is necessary to clamp in vices small products of insignificant weight having "volume"
form. The weight of the sample with using rigid support is in table 1.10

In cases where the products have a small weight and/or thickness, these measures may
not give the desired results. For control of such products, it is necessary to use hardness
