Meaning of bit B:
B = 0 Single AS-i slave or A-slave
B = 1 B-slave
8.2.4.5 Set Permanent Configuration (SET_PCD)
This call sets the following configuration data for the addressed AS-i slave:
• I/O configuration
•ID code
• Extended ID1 code
• Extended ID2 code
The configuration data are stored permanently on the EEPROM of the AS-i/
PROFIBUS gateway and are used as the expected configuration by the AS-i mas
-
ter in the protected mode. The configuration data are specified by the manufactur-
er of the AS-i slave.
If the addressed AS-i slave does not support an extended ID code 1/2, the value

must be specified.
When this command is executed, the AS-i master changes to the offline phase and
then changes back to the normal mode (warm restart).
This command can only be executed in the configuration mode.
