● Loosen grub screw 1.
● Turn the eccentric 2 until there is a clearance of 1.5 mm between the lifting piece 3 and
the roller 4.
● Tighten grub screw 1.
● Loosen screw 5 and shift catch 6 in height so that there is a clearance of 0.5 mm
between the springborn pawl 7 and the top surface of catch 6.
● Tighten screw 5.

Requirement
The needle thread scissor must not cut the thread before tension 2 has opened
(cf. section 14.14 Needle thread tension).
