● Machine must be in program end position.
● Engage the stop motion device. Make sure the needle thread scissor does not open.
● Loosen screws 2 and 3.
● Shift trip guide 1 in accordance with the requirement.
● Tighten screws 2 and 3.
● Loosen screw 4 and re-position guide plate 5 so that the thread is centered in the middle
of the left-hand buttonhole seam. The left-hand buttonhole seam must be stitched over
the thread.
● Tighten screw 4.
● Disengage the stop motion device.
If necessary, adjust the opening and control of the needle thread scissor while
sewing.
14.20.03 Trip guide
Requirement
Trip guide 1 for the opening and control of the needle thread scissor must be adjusted so
that the thread end is perfectly stitched over by the left-hand buttonhole seam.
