37. Setting the thread check spring
Requirement:
When there is a weight of 10 grams on the thread check spring, there should be a clearance of
0.2 - 1.0 mm to the stop 77 (fig. 62).
The thread check spring should be set in accordance with fig. 63.
Setting:
● Turn the adjusting screw 78, until the thread check spring is set correctly.
● Straighten the thread check spring in accordance with fig. 63.
37a. Setting the thread guide on the front housing
Note:
This thread guide is set correctly at the factory and must only be adjusted if a compelling reason exists.
Requirement:
The thread guide screw should be in the middle of the elongated hole when in the basic position
(fig. 64).
Setting:
● Loosen fastening screw 79.
● If the loop is not correctly formed, the thread guide can be moved as seen in figure 64.
● Tighten fastening screw 79.
