8 DISTURBANCES IN PRIMARY SLOT MECHANISM
8.1 Primary slot does not move
8.2 Primary slot does not stop to the right position
SYMPTOM POSSIBLE REASON CORRECTIVE ACTION
Motor does not start Keyboard out of order or working
improperly.
PCB out of order or connector
loose.
Motor out of order or connector
loose.
Motor starts but slot is not moving Clutch between drawing screw and
step motor is loose.
Thread of drawing nut damaged.
Primary slot carriage stuck to guid-
ance wheel.
Drawing nut unscrewed from draw-
ing screw.
SYMPTOM POSSIBLE REASON CORRECTIVE ACTION
Slot No. 0 in the right position but
other slots in the wrong position.
Clutch glides.
Program error.
All slot positions are wrong. Position of the tube head changed
during the transportation.
Slot has moved in relation to the
slot carriage.
Optical detector tumbler has
moved.
Optical detector PCB has moved.
Fixation of the drawing nut of the
slot carriage has moved.
Optical detector defective.
Slot positions not calibrated.
