INSTALLATION
1. With the aid of an assistant or overhead hoist, Install
the cargo box on the chassis and align hinges.
2. Install fasteners

and nuts

into the cargo box
hinges and torque to specification.
TORQUE
Cargo Box Hinge Fasteners:
5 ft-lbs (7 Nm)
3. With the aid of an assistant, install the box shock

and cotter pin

.
CAUTION
Ensure the cargo box is properly supported when
installing box shock. The box is unstable without the
box shock.
4. Connect the tail light harness connector

and install
the harness retainer
w
in the chassis.
5. Verify proper operation of tilt box and tail lights.
