CARGO BOX
CARGO BOX SERVICE
REMOVAL
1. Tilt the cargo box.
2. Disconnect the tail light harness connector

and
release the harness retainer

from the chassis.
3. With the aid of an assistant, remove the cotter pin
e
and pin
r
from the box shock
t
. Remove the box
shock from the cargo box.
CAUTION
Cargo box can drop backwards after shock is removed.
Ensure the cargo box is properly supported.
4. With the aid of an assistant or overhead hoist,
remove the nuts
y
and fasteners
u
from the cargo
box hinges and lift off the chassis.
