3.3.3 Objective Positioner (with MSA-A-TMS Option)
Parts
description
The assembly kit for the objective positioner consists of the turret and
objective insert and the objective positioner itself. For the assembly, you will
also need a flat key and the clamping tool enclosed with the assembly kit. The
objective insert is already pre-assembled in the objective positioner.
INFORMATION
As an option, the objective positioner can be assembled on the objective
turret or the objective adapter. The assembly on the objective turret is
described in the following. The assembly on the objective adapter works
similarly.
INFORMATION
To make it easier to assemble the objective positioner on the objective turret,
remove all objectives from the objective turret beforehand.
Assembly
To assemble the objective positioner on the objective turret, proceed as
follows (refer also to F

1. Switch off the front-end by turning the key switch on the front-end to
position

2. Loosely screw the turret insert [C] into position
II/TMS
on the objective
turret.
3. Insert the narrow side of the flat key [D] into the notches on the turret
insert and tighten the revolver insert.

4. Slightly loosen the clamping ring [E] on the turret insert so that the spring
washer inside is not too tight or too loose.
5. Press the objective positioner [F] into the turret insert until it clicks into
place.
