3.4.1 Connecting the Protective Earth Cable
ATTENTION!
Damage to the sensor head caused by improper fastening material!
» Only use the provided fastening material to connect up the protective earth
cable.
The scope of delivery includes all protective earth cables that you need for the
safe operation of your measurement system. The standard scope of supply
includes a protective earth cable which connects the controller and the sensor
head. With the MSA-A-TMS option another protective earth cable is added
that leads from the objective positioner to the sensor head.
In order to ensure safe handling of the measurement system, you have to
correctly connect the protective earth cables to the respective connections of
the objective positioner, sensor head and controller. The connections for the
protective earth cables are all marked with the following sign .
