6 Loosen the adjustment bolt for the step up pulley until tension has
been removed from the input pulley belt and it can be removed from
the pulleys.

7 Remove the snap ring from the flat belt pulley shaft located on the
drive input pulley. Remove the pulley and wave washer.
8 On the crank arm side of the drive input, remove the snap ring from
the flat pulley shaft located on to the drive input pulley, remove
the pulley and wave washer.
