8. Power supply
1. Car adapter and Ac adapter
[1] Before connecting be sure the power is off
[2] Connect the AC adapter to the external DC input jack (see page 9 for location)
2. Battery replacement
[1] Shut of the power and remove the external power adapter.
[2] Remove the screws form the battery cover. Lift the battery cover and remove the 6 AA
batteries.
[3] Set the slide switch according to the type of battery being installed. (To the left for
alkaline or manganese batteries (dry). To the fight for NiCd batteries)
[4] Insert the new batteries into the case. Observe battery polarity.
[5] Replace the battery cover and reinstall the screw.
[6] Check to the Battery test indicator in system menu (see page 48) for the condition
of the battery installed.
[7] For a quick charge it is recommend charging the batteries while the power is off.
When using the car adapter recharge the batteries while the engine is operating
