you will see the message ā€œFailed Safe!ā€ on the display, along with a
message explaining why (lost echo or transducer fault, for example)
When a valid measurement is obtained then the display and output will be
restored and the timer is reset.

Range
P830 Output Range
This parameter determines the range of the output, from the following.
Option
Description
0= Off
Voltage output disabled.
1= 5 to 0 VDC
Voltage output is inversely proportional to the output
mode (P831), so if the reading is 0% then the voltage
output is 5 VDC. If the reading is 100% then the
voltage output is 0 VDC.
2= 0 to 5 VDC
(Default)
Voltage output directly proportional to the output
mode (P831), so if the reading is 0% then the voltage
output is 0 VDC. If the reading is 100% then the
voltage output is 5 VDC.
Operation
P831 Output Mode
This parameter determines how the Output relates to what is measured. By
default it operates exactly the same as the display (P100), but it can be set
to operate as follows:
