What to do if my Pulsar Measuring Instruments instrument does not switch on?
    • T
      Tyler MurrayJul 27, 2025
If your Pulsar Measuring Instruments instrument doesn't switch on, there are several possible causes. First, ensure that batteries are fitted. If they are, they might be flat or low, so try fitting new batteries. Also, check the polarity to make sure the batteries are correctly fitted. If the issue persists, the instrument may be corrupted, in that case you should contact your local distributor or Pulsar Instruments Plc.

What to do if the calibration fails and is 'Unstable' on my Pulsar NOVA?
    • K
      Kenneth OrtegaAug 19, 2025
If the calibration fails and shows as 'Unstable' on your Pulsar Measuring Instruments, it could be because the background noise level is within 15dB of the calibration level. Move to a location where the background noise level is more than 15dB below the calibration level. If this doesn't resolve the issue, the Microphone may be damaged, in that case you should contact your local distributor or Pulsar Instruments Plc.
