Introducing Shortcuts
A Shortcut provides instant access to a
feature pre-allocated by the user. Each
number key apart from “1” can be linked
to a feature from the list below.
Creating a Shortcut
• From the Main menu, select Settings,
then Preferences, then Shortcuts.
• Choose a number key to link from.
(The “1” key is permanently linked to
Voicemail.)
• Select the desired action. To create a
Shortcut to access one of the MP02’s
features, e.g. the Clock, select Open
App and select again from the
sub-menu that appears.

linked to
• Call Contact
• Message contact
• New message
• New note
• New contact
• Voicemail
• Open app (see below)
• Turn on Bluetooth
• Turn on Wi-Fi
• Turn on Tethering

• Contacts
• Clock
• Messaging
• Settings
• Notes
• Calculator
• Call history
• Calendar
Using a Shortcut
To use a shortcut, long-press its number
key with the Home screen displayed.
Deleting a Shortcut
It is not possible to simply remove a
Shortcut (other than by resetting the
entire phone). The only option is to
replace a number key’s Shortcut with a
different Shortcut.
