Send message, or Call.
Alternatives to backing up
It is not possible to export backup copies
of text messages from the MP02.
Texting is not an efficient way of sending
important information that may need to
be archived. Email is far superior for this
purpose: it is easier to work with
efficiently, attachments can be added, it is
more readily available on a full-size
screen, and if required it can easily be
printed out in a way that displays
information about its sender. SMS
messages can often be intercepted en
route between sender and recipient; if
confidentiality is important, encrypted
email should be used.
The content of a text message can be
archived by forwarding text messages to
another device, for example a computer
that is set up to receive SMS-format
messages.
