Outputs (channels 1-30)
Accessed by right-clicking on the SM1-
SM30 output channel button (Refer to channel/pin chart
on last page of this manual)
Channel Name: Can be changed to match the
device this output is connected to for ease of
future programming. It is recommended to start
the name with a reference to the channel number
(ex: output #12 for Fuel Pump = “O12 Fuel
Pump”). Name must start with a letter.
Default=SM1 Output #n
Type: SMARTWIRE 20A or SMARTWIRE 10A Designates the particular channel type. Device
connected to this channel should not exceed the listed current rating. Non-programmable
Channel Mode: Enabled or Disabled, designates channel output mode Default=Enabled
Vnet ID: ID of the broadcast of this channel out to other devices/channels on the V-Net.
DO NOT CHANGE-FOR ADVANCED USERS
Unit Serial #: Serial number of the SmartWire unit this output pertains to.
Output Function: Constant On, Flash, Latch On, Single Pulse, Windshield Wiper; Default=Constant
On
o Constant On: When on condition is met (true), output will remain on until on condition is not
met (false). On/Off Delay times are active when selected.
o Flash: When on condition is met (true), output will flash on/off until on condition is not met
(false). On/Off Delay times and Flash On/Off times are active when selected.
o Latch On: When on condition is met (true), output will latch (lock) on and remain on regardless
of on condition (true or false). In order to reset, master power must be cycled to off position. On
Delay time is active when selected.
o Single Pulse: When on condition is met (true), output will activate once regardless of condition.
On Delay and Pulse Time is active. Once Pulse Time is finished, condition must go false in order
to restart output on next true condition.
NOTE: Once activated, the output will run through the cycle regardless of the on-condition.
Output is active once on-condition is met regardless how long the on condition remains true.
