2.4.1.3 DOSE RATE EXCEEDS THRSH!
In the event when the Dose Rate exceeds the Dose Rate radiation alarm threshold, Syclone
notifies the user with this message, red LED flashes, audio beeps and the unit vibrates.
2.4.1.4 CPS EXCEEDS THRESHOLD!
In the event when the Counts per Second exceeds the CPS radiation alarm threshold,
Syclone notifies the user with this message, red LED flashes, audio beeps and the unit
vibrates.
2.4.1.5 TEMP EXCEEDS AUTO RANGE!
This message will appear in the status bar if stabilization is in Auto mode and the
temperature exceeds the range specified in the Auto Stabilization settings (see Section
5.5.2).

4.1.6 DOSE MEMORY IS FULL!
User can go to CONFIGURATION menu to erase the data samples and spectra saved on
the memory or use RadView software to erase it. Before erase the memory, user should
download all the saved data to PC by RadView software.
2.4.2 IDENTIFY
The following messages are only applicable to the Identify Mode.
2.4.2.1 MOVE CLOSER!
This message is only applicable to Automatic and Simplified Modes.
Move Closer means that the signal is very weak so if possible the user should move the unit
closer to the suspect source of radiation. In many cases this is impossible so no action need
be taken, but if possible move the unit closer until the message goes away.
2.4.2.2 MOVE AWAY!
This message is only applicable to Automatic and Simplified Modes.
Move Away means that the signal is stronger than is necessary to take a proper sample.
Correct action is to back away until the display shows SCANNING!
IT IS THE USERS CHOICE TO CONTINUE TO OPERATE WITH ‘MOVE AWAY’ MESSAGE ON THE SCREEN.
2.4.2.3 SPEC MEMORY IS FULL!

2.4.3 SEARCH AND IDENTIFY
The following messages are applicable to both the Search and Identify Modes.
2.4.3.1 STABILIZATION OFF. NO ID!
If Stabilization is set to OFF, the unit still has the ability to collect spectrum, but with NO
NUCLIDE ID.
