APPENDIX G – OPTIONAL GPS AND BLUETOOTH FEATURE
To activate the optional GPS and Bluetooth features, select Configure from the Main Menu, then
select Miscellaneous. The GPS feature allows the user to log GPS coordinates into scans. The
Bluetooth feature allows the Syclone to be connected wirelessly to a PC via Bluetooth for data
upload.
When activated, the GPS and Bluetooth icons will appear in the top red status bar.
When the GPS option is ON and signal is acquired, this symbol will display:
When the GPS is OFF or GPS option is ON and signal is not acquired, the icon will change to this:

S and Bluetooth feature located in Miscellaneous
menu. The 2 symbols only appear on the Search,
Identify and Main Menu Screens.
When Bluetooth is enabled, user can download data
through Bluetooth. But in this case, downloading data
through USB is not available anymore. In order to use
USB to download data again, Bluetooth needs to be
turned off.
