PPCBoot
PowerPact6 processors do not support SCSI disks, so PPCBoot’s primary role here is to boot cross-
development operating systems (such as LynxOS) across a network. Consult the documentation supplied
with the software (e.g. LynxOS) for more details. An example of booting LynxOS across a network is
given below.
On startup, PPCBoot displays a start banner that identifies the PowerPact6 system configuration - see
below.
