5. Standard Interfaces
CompactPCI Interface
The PowerPact6 processors implement a 64-bit, 66 MHz CompactPCI interface, conforming to the
PICMG 2.0 R3.0 specification. Hot-Swap (PICMG 2.1) is also implemented. 3.3V signaling voltage is
used, with tolerance of 5V inputs.
The PowerPact6 processors may operate either as System Controller (providing CompactPCI clocks and
arbitration) or as a Peripheral card. The following symbols are used to indicate CompactPCI device
capabilities:
