CNH PRO 700 SET-UP
RE-ADDRESSING RATE CONTROLLERS
The re-address process determines which control windows are reporting windows correspond to each rate
controller in the direct injection system.
Use the Re-Address Rate Controllers screen to establish a new address for each rate controller on the CAN bus:
• When the direct injection system is installed for the first time.
• When replacing rate controllers.
TO RE-ADDRESS RATE CONTROLLERS
1. On the Home screen, press the Calibration icon . The Calibration screen will open.
2. Press the ReAddr icon . The Re-Address Rate Controllers screen will open displaying the status of the
rate controllers (up to five).
3. Press the Re-Address icon. A Re-Address Rate Controllers pop-up window will open.
4. Press Continue. The rate controllers will start re-addressing. A pop-up “Make sure to Cycle the Main Tank
controller first” window will open. Press Done when Finished. A “Display will automatically cycle power” window
will open.
5. Remove power to all rate controllers by disconnecting the product node harness.
6. Reconnect the product node harness for the main tank.
NOTE: The rate controller of the main tank will get the address “1” when the re-address process is complete.
The address “1” corresponds to the “M.Tank” rate controller name.
7. Reconnect the product node harness for each direct injection rate controller.
NOTE: The first direct injection rate controller that is connected will get the address “2” when the re-address
process is complete. The address “2” corresponds to the “Inj #1” rate controller name. The next direct
injection rate controller that is connected will get the address “3,” which corresponds to the Inj #2”
rate controller name, and so on.
8. After cycling power to all of the rate controllers, press Done in the pop-up window. The display will reboot.
9. Navigate to the CAN Status screen.
10. Confirm that each rate controller has an Online status and that each controller has the correct address.
PRODUCT CONTROLLER SET-UP
1. Press the Toolbox icon on the home screen. The Toolbox screen will open.
