Groupcallscanbemadetogroupsofvesselssharing
thesameGroupMMSInumbers.
Groupcallsaremadebyselectingasavedgroupcontact
fromthePhonebookorbyenteringtheGroupMMSI
numberforthegroupyouwanttocall.
Makingagroupcall
Fromthe
GroupCallmenu:Menu>DSCCalls>Group
Call.
1.SelectPhonebooktomakeacalltoagroupsavedin
yourPhonebook,or
2.SelectRecentCallstomakeacalltoagroupthat
youhavecalledrecently,or
3.Select
EnterMMSItomanuallyentertheMMSI
numberofthegroupyouwanttocontact.
4.SelectagrouporenteranMMSImanuallyandpress
the
OKbutton.
5.SelecttheChannelyouwanttotransmitthecallon.
The radio will wait for an acknowledgement to be
received.
6.Ifanacknowledgementisreceived,presstheOK
button.
7.Pressandholdthe
PTTbuttonandspeakyour
message.
8.Releasethe
PTTbuttonwhenyouhavecompleted
yourmessage.
Receivingagroupcall
Note:T oreceiveacallmadetoaGroup,theGroup’s
MMSInumbermustbesavedinyourphonebook.
Withanincominggroupcalldisplayed:
1.SelectShowinfofromtheoptionstoreviewrelevant
calldetails.
2.Select
ReplyonCh##atanytimetoacceptthecall.
If auto channel change is turned on then the channel
will automatically change after 10 seconds.
Theradioisre-tunedtothespecifiedchannel.
3.T orejectthecall,selectReject.
4.Ifyourejectedthecall,selectareasonforthe
rejectionfromthelist.
Confirmationoftheacceptanceorrejectionofthecallis
displayed.Ifyouhaveacceptedthecallthentheradio
willre-tunetotherequestedchannel.

Theradiocanrequestpositioninformationfromany
stationcapableofrespondingtotherequest.
Positionrequestscanbesenttoanycontactstoredin
the
Phonebookorbymanuallyinputtingthestation’s
MMSInumber.
WhenconnectedtoaRaymarine
®
multifunctiondisplay
thepositiondatafromtherequestcanalsobedisplayin
theChartapplication.

1.SelectPhonebooktorequestthepositionofa
contactsavedinyourPhonebook,or
2.Select
RecentCallstorequestthepositionofa
contactthatyouhavecalledrecently,or

EnterMMSItomanuallyentertheMMSI
numberofthestationthatyouwanttorequestthe
positionof.
4.SelectacontactorenteranMMSImanuallyand
pressthe
OKbutton.
Thepositionrequestissent.Whenaresponseis
receivedthepositionofthecontactisdisplayed.
