Function 5: Motor brake (* = Default setting)
When the throttle at the transmitter is moved to the neutral position from forwards driving, the motor brake is activated.
The function corresponds to the motor braking function in a „real“ car when you take your foot off the throttle pedal.
Setting Function
1 * Motor brake deactivated
2 Motor brake 10%
3 Motor brake 20%
4 Motor brake 30%
5 Motor brake 40%
Function 6: Neutral range (* = Default setting)
This setting makes it possible to set the neutral position range of the transmitter (the section of the throttle/brake lever
path to be recognised as neutral position). The lower the value set, the more sensitive will the motor control react
around the throttle/brake lever neutral position of the transmitter.
Setting Function
1 Range 0.1500 ms (large neutral setting range)
2 * Range 0.1000 ms
3 Range 0.0750 ms
4 Range 0.0500 ms
5 Range 0.0250 ms (very small neutral setting range)
Function 7: Deactivation voltage (* = Default setting)
ToavoiddeepdischargeoftheLiPodrivingbattery,thespeedcontrollermustswitchoffthemotorstartingataspecic
battery voltage.
Setting Function
1 No deactivation voltage: This setting must only be used in NiMH rechargeable batteries. Due to
thehighpowerconsumptionofthelowcostsavings,however,werecommendonlyusingLiPo
driving batteries for the vehicle. The setting must not be used for this!
2 * Automatic power-off: The speed controller measures the battery voltage after activation and in-
dicates the cell number by sound signals (4 sound signals = 4 cells). The motor is automatically
deactivated depending on the set cell voltage (see the following function 8). This is the recom-
mended setting for this vehicle.
3 Deactivation at 5 V: Must not be used for this vehicle.
4 Deactivation at 6 V: Must not be used for this vehicle.
5 Deactivation at 9 V: Must not be used for this vehicle.
6 Deactivation at 12 V: The motor is deactivated here at a cell voltage of 3.0 V (12 V / 4 = 3 V).
Thissettingshould,however,onlybeusedifyoudonotconnectanyfullychargedLiPodriving
batteries to the speed controller. In this case, the speed controller may only recognise a 3-cell
driving batters, which will cause deep discharge in driving operation.
