liable for damage caused to property and personnel.
Playing children
There is danger to life through an electric shock when touching the internal parts of the device!
Mains voltage
The device must only be operated under voltage of 230V. You can see this on the backside of the device and
on the external power supply. All connections must be double checked before connecting the device to the
mains and put into operations.
Humidity, solar radiation, heat, open ames
Protect the device from extreme humidity, dripping and splash water. Do not place any objects lled with
liquid or with open re like beverages or candles on the device. Do not install the device next to a radiator or
in a humid room. Do not expose it to the direct sunlight or operate it in tropical climate.
Ventilation
Ventilation
Even though the heat arising in the device is suciently dissipated you should never install it in a shelf or a
closet without enough ventilation. Do not block the device´s cooling vents and don’t place any objects on
it. To let the arisng heat dissipate easily you should leave a clearance of 20cm on the sides and 30cm behind
the device if the chapters “assembly” and commissioning” do not state otherwise.
Long absence, tempest, power plug reachability
To completely disconnect the device from the mains you must unplug the power supply. Therefore, the
device should be installed next to an easy to reach wall outlet so it can be unplugged easily in case of emer-
gency. In case of long term absence or tempest you should unplug the device as a precaution. We recom-
mend this for all devices that are plugged to the printer, even via USB.
