F Close the front cover with both hands carefully.
Note
❒ This step is not necessary if the printer's power switch is on but the printer
has been inactive for a long time.
Using the Printer Again after it has been Inactive for a Long Period
Use the following procedure to start using the printer again after it has been in-
active for a long period.
Important
❒ To avoid damage to the fusing unit's knobs, be sure to turn both knobs back
to their original positions, as shown in the following procedure.
A Plug in the power cable.
B Pull Front Cover Open Lever, and then open the front cover with both
hands carefully.
