Paper Misfeed Message (A)
The " (A) Remove paper from Trays. Opn & cls Frt. Cov." error message appears when a paper misfeed
occurs in the standard paper feed tray.
Misfeed Tray 1
1. Pull Front Cover Open Lever, and then open the front cover with both hands carefully.

2. Carefully pull the jammed paper upward and out.

If paper has jammed inside the paper transfer unit, holding both sides of the paper, pull the paper
carefully forward and out.
