9. Open the scanner cover [A].
10. Remove the packing [B].
11. Open the upper unit [A].
12. Pull out the red tape and remove the drum protection sheet [B].
• Pull the red tape out slowly and carefully, to prevent damage to the cleaning unit entrance seal.
