CLEANING THE FAN

Clean the inside and the rotor blades of the fan unit to re-
move any build-up of dust. Accumulated dust reduces the
air ow and therefore reduces combustion efciency, lead-
ing to increased emissions.

Take care not to damage or block the fan while performing
cleaning or maintenance.
Proceed as follows
Unscrew the screws (1) and remove the air damper (2);
Unscrew the screws (3) and remove the suction cover (4);
Clean the fan and the inside of the suction cover using a
suitable brush and compressed air.

Reverse the above steps to reassemble. Take care to re-
place all burner parts in their original positions.
3.7.2 Cleaning the heat exchanger
Proceed as follows to access the internal parts of the boiler:
Remove the front panel (1);

Remove the burner;
Remove the 2 bottom cover xing nuts (2);
Remove the 2 top cover xing nuts (2);

Release the cover (3) of the heat exchanger, pulling it to-
wards you;
Remove the cover (3) and remove the turbulators (if t-
ted) from the ue gas pipes;
Use a ue brush (4) or other suitable tool to clean inside
the combustion chamber and the ue gas pipes;

Remove any dislodged soot.
On completion of cleaning, replace the turbulators inside the
ue gas pipes, and reverse the steps given above to replace all
other components.
Fit a new breglass seal when tting the cover on the ue gas
box.
