Chapter 7 Configure your Digital Module on an EtherNet/IP Network
The New Entry window appears with the module’s Ethernet Address
(MAC).
4. Enter the IP address or the host name. You can also enter a description of
the module. Click OK
5. To permanently assign this configuration to the module, highlight the
module and click the Disable BOOTP/DHCP button.
When power is recycled, the module uses the configuration that you
assigned and not issue a BOOTP request.
If you do not select the Disable BOOTP/DHCP button, on a power cycle,
the host controller clears the current IP configuration and will again begin
sending BOOTP requests.
