7.3. Assembling & mounting optional accessories
7.3.1. Assembling the shelf & mounting it on the machine (optional accessory)

Note
Assistance from a second person may be necessary for assembly and installation.

Remove the 2 screws on the front panel of the machine.
Tool:
5 mm Allen key
(included in the pottery wheel's scope of delivery)
Attention:
Store the screws in a safe place.

Screw the 2 threaded rods into the machine by hand
(clockwise).
Protrusion above the worktop = 21 cm

Position 2 of the lower support washers
(align the curvature upwards).

Position the 2 hollow struts and the 2 upper support
washers (align the curvature downwards).

Place the shelf on top and screw in the 2 nuts.
Tool:
5 mm Allen key
(included in the pottery wheel's scope of delivery)
Torque:
8 Nm
Note
The shelf can be detached in reverse order when not in use.
Attention:
Screw in the screws from step 1 again!
(Tool: 5 mm Allen key; torque = 8 Nm)
