10.5. Drive screws for wooden throwing batt
There are two threads in the wheel head for screwing in drive screws for the use of a wooden throwing batt. Wooden
throwing batts are available as accessories under item no. 657052.

Without carriers
Grub screws are screwed in on delivery.
Note:
It is recommended to screw the grub
screws into the wheel head from below.
To do this, however, the wheel head
must be loosened and removed (see
Section 12.3.). This has the advantage,
though, that the hexagon socket of the
grub screws does not become clogged
with clay during pottery.
Tool:
3 mm Allen key
(included in the pottery wheel's scope
of delivery)
With carriers
The grub screws must be replaced by
the drive screws (included in the scope
of delivery).
Tool:
5 mm Allen key
(included in the pottery wheel's scope
of delivery)
Torque:
5 Nm
