Switch off the machine.

Unplug the power cord from the socket.

Carefully push up the grey tab on the square socket of the machine
with a flat-blade screwdriver.

And pull the plug out of the socket at the same time.
8.1.2. Fitting the foot pedal to the machine
NOTE
To operate the pottery wheel, the jack plug of the foot pedal must be plugged into the machine
and then pressed.
C
onnecting the foot pedal to the machine:
The square socket for plugging in the power
cord is located on the underside of the pottery
wheel. The square plug on the power cord
must be plugged into the socket until it clicks
into place. The square plug only fits into the
socket in one certain position.
The round socket for plugging in the cable
from the foot pedal is located on the
underside of the pottery wheel. The cable
must be plugged into the socket with the jack
plug until it clicks into place.
